Flung into the air, her little beret twirls and gently returns to her hand. She didn't anticipate the hype her hat toss would receive, but Mary Tyler Moore will always be remembered for her beret and cute 70's wardrobe.
She has always been an inspiration for me. Many months ago I watched her preform the perfect housewife dance beside her popular husband, Dick Van Dyke. Now, I'm hoping to see Netflix add The Mary Tyler Moore Show to the instant queue so I can drool over her professional office wear and flippy hairdo.

Like the hat above? It's on sale at Ruche!!!

I love her as well.
ReplyDeleteOoh, there's a blast from the past. I used to love watching Mary Tyler Moore shows.
ReplyDeleteDo you know where the pretty lady is these days - I'm assuming she's still alive, would love to hear more.
I think all her episodes were still on Hulu.com! I've already gotten through 3 seasons of her show and spent many hours enjoying the cute comedy:)
ReplyDeleteI am the biggest Mary fan. I watch the DVD's all the time of The Mary Tyler Moore show. I was 14 in 1970, so what a big impact she made on me. Probably why I work in and office environment today! Love her and she just turned 73 the other day.
ReplyDeleteshe is such a lovely lady, I remember watching her show on Nick at Nite...good times
ReplyDeleteGenius!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
I love old artists and old movies.
ReplyDeleteMary Tyler Moore was one of my faaaavorite shows & Mary did have fabulous style. I would also love to watch (and watch and watch) old re-runs. Another favorite of mine was Bewitched with Elizabeth Montgomery. Reruns of that show are now appearing on TV Land & her style was fab, too!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, dear!
